brilliant acting, and although people think that the plot of vines being the "villians" of the movie is dumb i beg to differ it still bobbed me up.
it would have been better with more shocks up it made that up with the amount of gore.
Intense and scary!

I´ve read the book, and I´m not dissapointed (altough the book is better); good characters construction and well-paced fear; the gory scenes are incredibles!!

Good work!
Very Creepy, A Must See!
by Mitchell at 11:54am on July 26th, 2008
I have read the book, I was kinda bord by the book. But this was like the creepy and unique movie. I think a lot of people didn't like it cause of what the thing was living in the Ruins but it was good if you didn't mind it. 5 out of 5. Peace.
Boring

Movie Vs Book
by Bobby at 6:44pm on June 28th, 2008
Had I not read the book the movie would have been ok, otherwise the book was much better, a bit long and drawn out though, should have been 100 pages shorter!
Movie was kind of cool though, not one I would watch a second time though.

Plantastic!

I went in expecting a bad slasher movie, but i ended up being very suprised at how good it was. It's not a slasher movie, nor is it a pop out scary movie. (though there are a few of those) It's a pyschological thriller. The blood and gore is tastefully done. It's disguting and stomach renching but at the same time wonderfully place. The plot seems almost taken from creepshow II the short piece called "the Raft" if anyone has seen it. My only problem with it is that it's too long. Near the end i found myself looking at my watch. The ending does however leave me pondering what will happen next: A sequal perhaps?
