Kim Soper Thanks for an amazing show in Vancouver. I can't wait til you come back! :-)

Angela Berke why oh why can't you be playing in SLC on the 12th instead of the 13th?? so bummed i may never recover... :(

Justin Griffeth Really great to meet you guys and thanks for putting on an awesome show! Can't wait 'til you come to Portland again. Remember, Doug Fir Lounge.

Jon Wolf Congrats on your PF review! I feel like I have been listening to the album and pushing it on people forever, but really happy to see you get this positive review from the music snobs!

This affecting debut-- an underground hit for months, now out on Saddle Creek-- blends acoustic, nostlagicrock, energetic rhythms, and grand arrangements. [Rebecca Raber]

Should have gotten Best New Music! 8.0 is still great though. Congrats! This album deserves every drop of recognition it is bound to get.

Ben at 12:10pm July 7
The fact that Pitchfork didn't piss all over it should be considered an encouraging sign! An 8.0 from them is worth more by almost any other review standard (they're pretty harsh a lot of the time, deservedly or otherwise).

oustanding

Diana Suess I model stocked "Hometowns" at work the other day. THIS means that our store MUST carry a copy at ALL TIMES! I got a little TOO excited. July 7th, I hear! Hoorah!

Andrew Evans Loved the show at The Albert in the 'Peg last night, come back soon!

Deepak Bhathal Hey there. It was awhile back but what happened to that house show after CMW? The address didn't exist and we found ourselves surrounded by factories. On the plus side we found a gritty, grizzled burger joint where the cook told us of his wife of 32 years who he left in Ukraine 31 years ago. Apparently he has enjoyed everyday since.
