Starting this Wednesday, April 1, The Scene is partnering with Prodigy Promotions (Rock Mondays at Les Deux, h.wood Saturdays) to present The Scene Wednesdays @ Winstons, in West Hollywood.
If you don't know about Winstons, I don't know what else to tell you other t...han 1) you should 2) it's one of our favorite places in Hollywood. It's dark, it smells of rich mahogany, the bartenders remember your name, and the DJ — in a town where you're constantly asking yourself the question "How in the hell did this terrible DJ land this high-profile gig?" — is, like, really good, and consistently packs the tiny dance floor (warning: that is a mirror next to the DJ booth, NOT another room for dancing).
On top of that, the guys of Prodigy Promotions are known for attracting some of the hottest crowds in Hollywood — so as a Scene user you should feel right at home. We're really excited to be partnering with them for this night.
Also, for the first Scene Wednesday we'll have a special guest: Dr. Hollywood (aka Louie Rubio and Alex Larson) will be performing a few songs, including — and I'm just guessing here, no guarantees — the ubiquitous radio single "We Run L.A." If you're like me, and listen to Power 106 almost exclusively, because your iPod is broken and you're too lazy to burn CDs, then you know it, you sing it in your car:
"She came from overseeeeeeas ... To be a star on the Bou le vard."
So basically, it's going down.
If you want to join us, submit your RSVP here to get on our exclusive guest list. Bottle service is also available, please email us at reservations@thescene.com for details. See you there.
Cheers,
The Scene

Ahh, St. Patrick’s Day, the one day a year — and the only day — where everyone wants to be Irish. The one day a year, in L.A., when people who do not and cannot get a tan are not looked upon with pity and disdain, but reverence and respect — respect for their unique ability to put away and keep away the strong drink (t...he oft-repeated adage about “beer before liquor” does not apply to the Irish. Sorry.), and reverence for a culture that has brought such an amazing holiday to America’s shores.
