The Snake Charmers We enjoyed playing an outdoor corporate function Thursday afternoon, getting to play for about 3 hours. Lets us really get warmed up. Great weather to boot. Next up - in ~ two weeks, we'll be doing a 3 show hospital charity event where we need to do a quiet acoustic-like show w/o a full drum set. It will be interesting to try some new renditions of our songs.
The Snake Charmers We were quite pleasantly surprised today!!! KACC 89.7 "The Gulf Coast Rocker" played "Big Big Love" (off our CD) this morning.
The Snake Charmers Congratulations to Sonny Boy Terry and the Clay Melton Band, who advance to the Houston International Blues Challenge finals next week. Gonna be a great show: Bourbon Street, Blues Mafia, Sonny Boy Terry and the Clay Melton Band compete to win a trip to Memphis to compete in the international finals.

Sunday afternoon, we compete in the Houston semi-finals of the International Blues Challenge. Going to be a great show no matter what the outcome, with a total of 8 bands competing. Starts at 3:00pm at the Big Easy, $10/$7 Houston Blues Society members
