When calling in to ask a question to any of these guests, please defer your call to allow time for the show to open, for announcements and introductions, plus for the guest to at least put forth his/her thesis for the program.

Listening instructions can be found at www.thespaceshow.com/live.htm. If you are uncertain as to using your media player to hear these programs streamed, please email me prior to the June 8 for help. Once I am at the Cape and involved in production, I will not have time to help you though if I see that you need help, I will see if someone else can walk you through your problem to a solution. The easiest of the streaming services is Live365.com and if you are required to download their simple player, do so as it’s a good player and should not interfere with anything else on your computer.

If you have questions, contact me at drspace@thespaceshow.com. Remember, your phone calls are needed for these sessions. Keep your question short and to the point. One question per caller, please.

The Space Show

The Space Show Hi Robin, were I the type to give up, The Space Show would have left Earth years ago! Never give up is the best way to approach things along with grounding in reality. The two year promise for space tourism is always there for around 2 years out. Its getting to be a long 2 years. I hope the 2 years passes before I ag...e another 20 or become senile or a ward of the coming government healthcare system before my kids turn me over to Charlie for a real ride to space. In all seriousness, I hope some company makes it to space with a commercial operation. Sooner, not later. I have no favorites, just a strong hope for success of the industry. But as listeners of the show know, I focus on reality and related issues far more than promises and rhetoric. So someone out there or a space tourism company, get on with it. Two year out promises are a bore and detract from efforts to acquire capital in a capital hungry business. Robin, thanks for your and yes, everyone, never give up.
