Both Bushs' spending WAS reckless. Clinton's got us into the housing crisis. Reagan was a tad before my political time, but I can say I'm glad he was President. Stong defense is a Constitutional reason to spend tax money. Healthcare, cell phones for welfare recipients, and all these "Robin Hood" socialistic programs recent administrations have touted are NOT. Anytime you seize the property of another just because you (or your constituents) "need" it, you're no better than a burglar. "Need" is a subjective word-and someone has to determine it's definition. When we're discussing MY money, I want to be that judge. Currenly ~47% of the US population pays no income tax. Of COURSE they want more - it costs them NOTHING. Where in YOUR Macro course does it say you can consume more than you produce and maintain the status quo for any length of time?
