Happy Birthday to the Natural State. Ok, I'm especially fond of the Northern/Northwestern part. A beautiful place to live & to visit.

Four years after Hot Springs was declared a National Reservation (1832). The first and the first time ANY government set aside land for the public use of future generations.

For all the folks in NW Ark....yes, it is beautiful there. But, let's not forget the Delta. Nothing like seeing a beautiful green wheat field in the dead of winter.....or the golden rice fields when it they are ready for harvest. Our entire state holds MUCH beauty...very diversified. I am a North Central Ark. born and bred, but have lived in East Ark. for 35 years....

I am originally from California, and when my husband first took me to his home state of Arkansas, I was completely in awe! The state is beautiful, and the people some of the most wonderful that I have ever run into. I would give up the beach to live in "the natural state". :-)

Enjoy the rain while we can, all too soon it will stop and we will be asking 'when are we gonna get some rain'? LOL I can handle this better than the 'HOT and HUMID' ...

We will be wishing for this rain in July!

God i miss Arkansas, instead im living in a state ran by a blind Governor with his head so far up his butt he cant see the light of day. I mean he actually wants to tax farmers because cows fart, WOW!!!!

But Scott - you've got to love that NY snow and cold - NOT! lol! We moved from the Lake Champlain area - it was beautiful but now we wouldn't trade this Arknasas sunshine for anything!
