"The State of Things" on WUNC is “B”-ing political today. Former State House Representative Bertha “B” Holt will be in the studio to talk about her long career in North Carolina politics. Holt was first elected to the General Assembly in 1975 and became known as a champion of women’s and children’s causes. She joins host Frank Stasio to talk about her family, her pioneering experiences in the legal field and her life in the legislature.
