The band's second full-length album was released on 14th May 2009. Casa da Boa Vida (house of the good life) is chock full of great tunes, almost all of them original, and half of those written during the group's tour to Rio in late 2008. (Where they were invited to perform in Rio's hottest new venue, TribOz).
Brilliant Brazilian guitarist Beto Lopes features on a song he co-wrote with Kym during is time in Brisbane. Another tune is the first ever recording, and original arrangement of Benedito Silva's 'Palmeiras do Sul' released on the band's limited edition ep in 2007 and remastered for this album.
Their first album 'Tranquilo', and the e.p. 'Sabor' both still receive regular airplay across the country on various stations including ABC's Radio National, Classic FM and Triple J. They reached the top five in the unearthed charts for Roots Music, and the top 10 in the overall chart in 2008.
There is lots you could say about the band, but in the end, their music speaks for itself. Joyous, danceable, rhythmic songs right through to delicate bossas and sublime instrumentals to make your Sunday arvo G&T that much more palatable. The view is most excellent...from wherever you're sitting.
