Because the gospel is seen most clearly in community, planting churches can be more effective in reaching people. Sending out new churches when yours grows enough to plant another keeps the size manageable so that community is fostered, provides both opportunity and encouragement to develop more leaders, and more clearly demonstrates the nature of the church as both "body" and "family."
