Ryan and Sam Weber are ready to release their high energy Rock n' Roll show September 24th at the Market Hall. "We've been touring for months now, across Canada, USA and Europe....long time since we've played in Peterborough, it will be fun with some great specials guests." states Sam Weber
Ryan Weber and younger brothe...r Sam, are graduates of Arkansas expat rockabilly legend Ronnie Hawkins’ infamous Rock n' Roll boot camp and current members of Hawkins' backing group "The Hawks" . "It had been a dream of ours to play with Ronnie, ever since we saw him perform in (Martin Scorsese's award-winning 1976 concert documentary of The Band's farewell performance) "The Last Waltz," said bassist Ryan Weber.
The Weber Brothers have shared the stage with Garth Hudson and Levon Helm of The Band , Johnnie "B. Goode" Johnson of Chuck Berry fame and musicians like Jeff Healey, Kris Kristofferson, The Tradically Hip and Leon Russell among others.
The Weber Brothers touring band features Ryan Weber (bass/vocals), Sam Weber (guitar/vocals) , Jim Usher (sax), Emmet "Corn Dog" VanEtten (drums), Shai "Cookie" Peer (keyboard) Thomas Reader (Trombone) and Marlowe Bork (trumpet). Special Guest Paul James.
