Gary Blehm The King is a Fink!

Tom Haines Happy belated 45th. Forty five years ago Johnny and Brant taped a months worth of strips to the walls in their hotel room and had the syndicate over for a viewing. The rest is history.

Michael Lannes I remember Brant and my dad talking about the strip one day, and Brant was trying to name a "W.C. Fields" type lawyer charater...so dad suggested "Larson E. Pettifogger"

Donna Happy 45th anniversary Wizard of ID fans...RIP Brant Parker and Johnny Hart...your work lives on!

Kelli Shackleton-Yuzon Miss my Gramps!!!!!

Scott Shackleton I'm your #1 fan

David Fowler I'm looking for an OLD strip (1960's); one of the King's lackeys comes running in and announces, "Sire your new elevator shoes are ready!" Next you see the King at the shoemakers wearing shoes about three feet tall, and he says, "Report to the Rack!"... any idea which book of collections would have this one?

Susan One of my all time fav strips!! Smart and funny!

Robin Hammond I'm a FB newbie, but a LOOONG time fan of both Id and BC. Shout out to Jeff Parker from one his '77 classmates & Vale Rd neighbors - Robin Cattaro (hammond) Still enjoy the strip, when I can pick it up down here in Southside VA.

Art Looking for an old strip in which King is relieved to learn from Treasurer that his definition of "bankruptcy" means an absence of gold, not paper.
