Join us for the opening Reception of "Steve Madsen: A World In Wood" with the artist gallery talk at 6:30 pm. Organized by
Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ, this exhibition is the first to
present three decades of evolving work by playful wood artist Steve
Madsen. The exhibition displays vintage wood boxes created with the care
of fine furniture through large colorful contemporary sculptures.

Our June 2009 First Friday gallery talk with Hank Adams, Creative Director, from Wheaton Arts Glass Studio and Don Friel, Wheaton Arts Glass Artist. Both talked about the one of a kind vessels produced for the exhibition The Art of Opening: Bottles & Their Toppers on view at the Center until July 18th.

Saturday July 18, is Open Studio Day when the public is invited into the ITE Residents’ shop for demonstrations and discussion. This event takes place from 10 am until 4 pm at Moore College of Art, Wood Shop, at 20th & The Parkway.
The residents will share their skills and talk about their evolving work. Park nearby on ...the street or in parking garages and enter the college through Wilson Hall. Visitors can arrive any time after 10 am and stay until 4 pm or as long as they want. Dutch treat lunch with the group will be available.
