We're a coalition of NON-AMERICAN supporters of Barack Obama.

The global community is increasingly interdependent and the next US President will make decisions that that affect us all. Whether you live in Brighton, Baghdad, Buenos Aires or Bangkok, this matters.

We cannot vote in the 2008 US elections, but if we could we’d back Obama. Why? Because we want an America that lives up to the principles it preaches, listens rather than lectures, conserves rath... (read more)
Mission:
Our mission is simple - we're going to help Barack Obama to be the next President of the United States.

We'll do this in a number of ways from influencing superdelegates to contacting voters to running opinion polls around the world.
Find out how you can help below...
Products:
1 - SPREAD THE WORD - Invite your friends, set up parallel sites on other social networks, volunteer to be an admin for this group in your country etc. Speak up for Obama and advertise this group (or our associated webpage) in suitable places across the internet.
2 - TELL US about support for Obama in your country (e.g. polling data, articles or anecdotes). Post them on our discussion boards & we'll write about them!
3 - STATE WHY YOU WANT OBAMA - on the wall orthe discussion boards.
4 - DO A PHOTO/VIDEO - Submit an image or video clip to this group saying "We want Obama". Go to an interesting/recognisable location, or wear traditional cloths for your country. Speak in any language. Make it funny or serious. Be creative. Whatever inspires you! We'll combine photos and clips from around the world to make a YouTube video showing the diversity of worldwide support for Obama.
5 - LOBBY SUPERDELEGATES (POLITELY!) - Write to Superdelegates whose votes could decide the Democrat candidate: http://tinyurl.com/2mz6qh, you could also talking to American through online forums.
6 - CONDUCT A FACEBOOK POLL FOR YOUR COUNTRY - We've started doing polls around the world. It costs as little as $26, and is very simple. There's an example in the photo of a poll we conducted on 17 Feb which showed 63% of Facebookers in London favour Obama. You can conduct similar polls and email us a screenshot of the full results page and we'll post the data up here. http://www.facebook.com/business/?polls
