Remember, the word "kinda" takes the strength away. (It's kinda that way--not 100%.) Be sure you mean to do this. Example : "He was kinda rude." or did you really mean "He was rude." Most of the time there are better words to use than "kinda". Most times it is just a bad habit. Try being more precise. Consider--somewhat, rather, definitely and etc. Your choices make an impression. What impression do you want to make?

a, ah, umm, kinda and so on are vamping words that become irritating to the listener. You do not have to fill space with sounds (meaningless words) Say what you have to say and be quiet or pause until you pull your thoughts together. Your audience will appreciate it. And, it's a mark in your favor.

‎...thank God and celebrate with their Indian friends (with "King Massasoit and some ninety men") who helped them reap a bountiful harvest that summer and fall--America's first Thanksgiving Festival.Earlier Thanksgiving services were held in 1607 in Virginia. These events certainly changed the course of history and seeded the birth of this great nation! (Also, it's time to update my profile picture.)

Wish you well during the Thanksgiving holiday. I took time to pause and concentrate on all the things to be thankful for. Especially, the 102 pilgrims who left Plymouth, England to brave the harsh elements and conditions of their two-month voyage arriving on the shores of Massachussetts in late November in 1620. December 13, 1961 the survivors of the previous harsh winter declared a three-day feast to...

We can reach our potential and claim it. Everyone has a level of performance and a potential that, in most cases, is lying dormant. We can reach our potential on demand. All we need is the ‘How to’ for our ‘The Best That I Can Be’ quest. Simply put, everyone who comes in contact with people in any capacity--any employee in any company can be dynamic. To believe otherwise is to be imprisoned in mediocrity.

Today's speakers and leaders are oftentimes captured on video. This is the age of video marketing. Be prepared when your time comes. Once you are on video it's for keeps. Be prepared for the challenge and give a dynamic performance--one to be proud of.

YOU and only YOU are responsible for the response you get. Whenever addressing an audience, client(s), boardroom, peers etc., you must be in Performance Energy to command attention.
