One of London's leading fringe theatre venues, Theatro Technis is celebrating it's 50th Anniversary with a year of quality theatrical productions, and is expanding its activities to include access through the web.
Personal Interests:
Laboratory Theatre, and theatre as a rehearsal for action, paying homage to Augusto Boal, and to Joan Littlewood's Stratford Theatre. Rehearsal and performance venue seating 200 in London's Camden Town.

As a further development of its own activities Theatro Technis now has a new website which its friends are urged to visit. The History / Arhives section is being further developed in coming months to provide open access to certain 'gems' in the collection of video archives from activities during past years being made available through online video-on-demand facilities.

The 1976 'Save Theatro Technis' and the 1987 'Sanctuary Challlenge' documentaries are the best known and most-valued English-language items in the collection to have just been made available.

Our friends are therefore urged to surf their way to our new website, and take a look at some of the other items detailed at the History/Archives section at:

Beginning from the opening day of the celebrations of its fiftieth year during May 2007, selected performances and other activities hosted at Theatro Technis have been video recorded in their entirety, and those which are approved by the producers for free viewing over the internet are featured at its 'OurMedia' Profile.

That facility makes the higher quality videos of selected events available to the public under a 'creative commons' licence and is visible at:
