Nevermind people, sorry to have wasted time! I found the thread in the OC area. Just call me a non-thorough Lord of Chaos!

I have a problem here - in the OC I'm stuck right now attempting to get the first shard. I get it, but the journal doesn't update and the cutscene with Bevil doesn't load - I go back to West Harbor and Daeghun does his berating for not finishing the quest. I've tried reloading several times from earlier saves.

I'm running NWN2 with MotB, version 1.10.1115. I know it's not the latest release (and I'll be told to update - doing it but even with a download manager on my dial up it'll take about a week, since as usual the updater has issues and I have to download the critical rebuild). My problem with this answer is that I've been past this point before when I didn't have MotB installed and the game worked fine. A system crash due to WinUpdate made me have to reinstall the whole OS and lose all my stuff.

I've checked the official forums, and there's a similar problem during a cutscene near the end, and a console command to open the dialogue box and advance was posted, but nothing on this one.

And for those who want specs on hardware - AMD Athlon ~2.01 GHz, 1GB RAM, nVidia GForce 7800GS 256MB, Creative SB Live! Value, WinXP Pro SP3, 174GB free space on dual HD config.

I hope there's someone here who can give some advice - if not, I'll just keep downloading. Thanks!

I don't know anything about NWN2 so I'd just like to ask for some info:) because I'm thinking of buying it.

First, is there a fee to play?

Second, I had NWN1 ages ago, but I didn't like it because there were too many custom servers and not a single unified game (at least so it seemed). Does NWN2 have a main online campaign, and a main world (like World of Warcraft or Guild Wars)?

Third, how is the game pvp?

Im playing through the OC and have come to act III. I have got my greycloaks upto scale mail (3rd armour) and best weapons yet i think i left out to much ore early in the game. Im just about to set of to kill the first reaver.

Will there be enough ore futher ingame to equip my greycloaks with the best armour and if not is there a script i can use to work around it?

is their any mod or something i can use to make my main character or companions into a succubus??or any program that can change their apperances into any creature? i tried to post my question on nwvault.ign but i didnt know where so i came here since this is a nwn2 site

things going well for me as merchant and now I can afford anything I want in the game (2.5 millions gold and counting....) so I was wondering what is the best equipment
to buy/craft/find before I go to the final battle with Zehir and his minions

My Party is:

1. Longbow favored
2. Dwarven Axe favored
