Each year the Robert & Elaine Stein Galleries in the Creative Arts Center at Wright State University opens its doors between exhibitions to give aspiring artists of all ages a chance to put their own work on the walls. The walls are lined with paper, and all sorts of drawing materials are provided—pencils, compressed c...harcoal and colored sidewalk chalk, among other media. Draw on the Walls is a daylong event, after which the paper will be removed, so bring your camera to take a photo of your work.

The Robert and Elaine Stein Gallery is offering the event to the community in celebration of National Arts and Humanities Month. In addition, the Stein Galleries is partnering with ThinkTV in screening episodes of the PBS series Art:21. Art:21—Art in the Twenty-First Century, the only prime time national television series focused exclusively on contemporary art, invites audiences to meet fourteen of today’s most accomplished artists as they create works that reflect important and timely global issues. The Stein Galleries will be screening episodes from the new Season 5.

Refreshments and basic drawing supplies provide, and this event is free and open to the public.
