This is a wonderful book, you are right to like this Norm. A great travel log + erie parallels between 1984 and the current gov of Burma. Also, a great discussion about the damage caused by British colonialism (like the fact that many of the repressive laws now being used by the Burmese gov are old laws that were first put in place by the British to control/repress the population).
