Toby's Estate Coffee (NSW) FYI: Arabica plants are self pollinating whereas Robusta plants require cross pollination in order to produce coffee cherries. (ASCAA)
Toby's Estate Coffee (NSW) Wow-the cafe at Chippendale was pouring Sulawesi Toraja today, and what a coffee that is! Smooth, buttery cream texture with a delightful fruit flavour. We will soon have an aged Sulawesi, a specially aged green bean, to roast, which I think will prove very popular. Keep an eye out for it. We are currently roasting a...n aged Flores limited edition coffee-look out for this one; it's very tasty.
Toby's Estate Coffee (NSW) Thanks for all the great responses on the Ethiopia photos. Might add a few more... We expect to be bringing in some of our "own" Ethiopian coffees in the new year when the fresh harvest is ready-the one you see being prepared in these photos! We look good to be getting some previously unavailable East Harar, and a Yirg...acheffe Gr 1 sundried which is simply spectacular. Stay tuned.

Will hopefully be importing some of these for the coffee fans soon. Should get some pics up today if work does not intrude...
