We are moving!
We will soon be moving to Winckley Square in Preston. Within the next week Together Recruitment will be moving to Winckley Square. Now this use to be the place to be in Preston and was traditionally full of Solicitors and Accountants - lots of information on Winckley Sqaure can be found here. The square h...as been neglected a little over the last few years and some of these companies have left the centre to take up purpose built offices on the outskirts of town. However, maybe this was premature; as over 3 million pounds is about to be spent on the redevelopment of the park.
We are very excited about moving there and will have a new office with windows looking onto the square. We shall also be able to advertise our roles in the window and as a result have individuals popping in for a chat. Hopefully Winckley Square will become the centre of Preston again.Read More

Reporting directly to the Technical Operations Manager, you must be confident to work under your own initiative and to work to tight deadlines.

Location: Manchester
Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 (negotiable dependant on experience)

Technical Competencies:
Candidates must have vast experience of working with J2ME midlets and/or embedded Java (Personal Java) development experience.... Expertise is essential with:
* Strong OO design experience.
* 2D/3D rendering experience.
* Proficient with MIDP 2.0/Nokia Series 60/Symbian UIQ/Samsung/Motorola/LG, and proven track record of delivering the application on mobile devices.
* Familiarity with Network protocols such as; WAP, OTA, HTTP, TCP, SOCKETS
