Friends of the University of Toledo McMaster Engineering Library From 6/15-6/18 the Engineering Librarian will be at a conference. A student worker will be keeping the Library open 12-5:00 PM those days. Feel free to drop books off during those hours or use the book drop.
Friends of the University of Toledo McMaster Engineering Library April 13-17 from 9 AM - 6 PM there will be a Book Sale in the Carlson Library Concourse. Books are 25 cents each or $1 for a bag (oversize reference works are also $1). Stop by the sale and pick up some cheap reads!

The awards will support undergraduate study in the following fields: Anthropology, Archaeology, Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Computer and Information Science, Engineering, Geoscience, Mathematics (including Epidemiology and Statistics), Neuroscience, and Physics.
The applicant must be a female freshman, sophomore, o...r junior enrolled in an undergraduate program at the time of application; not have applied to this program previously; be majoring, or planning to major, in one of the eligible fields of study (Anthropology; Archaeology; Astronomy; Biology; Chemistry; Computer and Information Science; Engineering; Geoscience; Mathematics, including Epidemiology and Statistics; Neuroscience; and Physics); and planning a research or teaching career in one of the eligible fields of study. Applicants who are unsure whether their major or field falls under one of the eligible categories should send a note describing their field to awisedfd@awis.org. If not a United States citizen, the applicant must be enrolled at a U.S. institution.

Friends of the University of Toledo McMaster Engineering Library UT College of Engineering Sustainability Lecture Series inaugural lecture is December 3. "Changing Climate of US Politics" will be the topic. Come to Nitschke Auditorium from 2:30-3:00 for refreshments with the lecture to start at 3:30 and end at 4:30 with a time for questions after.
