It would be great if we can get some pictures of students in UT Law T Shirts or sweatshirts. Wear your gear to support your student group, or the law school generally. We’ll meet on the patio at about 2:15.

Ilya Shapiro of the CATO Institute debates Mark Fancher of the ACLU on "Affirmative Action or Reverse Discrimination: The Ricci Case, Sotomayor, and the Future of Our Courts.” This is expected to be a lively and provocative debate TODAY at noon, in the Law School Auditorium. Lunch will be provided.

I appreciated the things Fancher had to say, I expected more out of Shapiro by way of articulate response, but wasn't impressed by him. I wish we could have had a Q and A because I had some questions prepared :)
