For the price my toshiba satellite is fantastic. I went over a lot of reviews, rated it myself against others in my price range, got more memory, speed and room to upgrade!. I couldnt find anything at the time that matched, average price on it is 500.00. I think the ratings where right on, its like a desktop.

As far as I know the biggest raptor is only 300gb. The drives I referred to are the new ones that toms just recently reviewed. 7200rpm but as fast as the raptors in throughput and latency.
