November 18: The Traditional Jazz Collective
This energetic crowd favorite is led by NYC-based Kevin Dorn, a versatile drummer who is a familiar face to our MidWeek Jazz audiences, as he has played with several jazz and swing bands. Pianist Jesse Gelber and cornetist Charlie Caranicas won ovations he...re with other groups, while trombonist J. Walter Hawkes, alto and soprano saxophonist Michael Hashim, and bassist Doug Largent received their share of applause during previous visits.
The popular MidWeek Jazz Series will be held off-campus on Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. at Mancini Hall, Ocean County Library, 101 Washington Street, Toms River.
Admission: $13 in advance and $15 at-the-door. Advance tickets are only available through the Ocean County College Arts and Community Center Box Office.
