Tony Pua is heading to the Asia 21 Young Leaders' Summit @ JWMarriott, KL. Joining us this year's Nurul Izzah :-) & Omar Mustapha, hmmm...

Tony Pua is happy that the police did not arrest anyone for lighting candles and singing Negaraku last nite outside MCA HQ despite heavy police presence. It means that it's ok for us to start organising vigils again (and not get arrested/beaten up/charged)! Yes?

Tony Pua heard from the grapevine that OTK has submitted 5 names of deputy ministers to Najib for the chopping block! By removing dissidents, we can be united! ;-)

Tony Pua wants to know what can will the Parliament Speaker regard as "urgent" if Malaysia's plunge down the corruption rankings to 56 is rejected for debate as it's not "urgent.

Tony Pua was thinking about re-reading Shakespeare's political tragedy, Hamlet, but surely there could be nothing more riveting than the MCA version at this very moment

Tony Pua finds it amusing that MCA members are staging candlelight vigils in the name of democracy and wearing black as a mark of protest

Tony Pua read the headlines of The Star today, and think that the paper has really gone to the dogs, making up a story based purely on insinuation, conjecture and no substantive content, purely to bark on behalf of their BN paymasters

Tony Pua wonders if BN will now blame the opposition for perpetually harping on issues of corruption and hence affected the "perception" of Malaysia, causing its decline in ranking to 56 from 47(2008). If opposition keep quiet, then "perception" will improve and so will our rankings ;-)

Tony Pua Tony Pua found out that Malaysia has crashed to rank 56 in the TI Corruption Perception Index from 47 (2008) and 37 (2004). Will BN politicians now say "no issue" as we are still better off than Indonesia, Somalia, Iraq despite being ranked with Namibia , Latvia and Slovakia?

Tony Pua wonders who is telling the truth, Tun Razak who replied in Parliament in 1975 that all states are entitled to 5% oil royalty by law or his son, Najib who said that Kelantan & Terengganu are not entitled to any royalty?

Tony Pua is disappointed that the Merdeka Centre "corruption survey" results today indicated that 51% of people feel corruption doesn't affect them

Tony Pua is happy that he has finally broke the jinx of missing 3 flights in a row this morning!

Tony Pua can't believe it when Home Minister openly rejected the results of its own survey whereby 97% of 10,000 respondents say "keselamatan tidak terjamin"

My earlier post "Home Minister Supports KPI Minister" focused on the fact that Dato' Seri Hishammuddin supports the thesis that the crime index will inevitably rise as the confidence in the police is returning to the people. ...
