Dornbusch Partners

Dornbusch Partners Good start expected to the week after US payroll numbers exceeded expections on Friday night. SPI up 50pts. Could be an interesting week ahead with strong resistance being met in the past around 4600. Can our market break through or will it reverse again?

Dornbusch Partners Market finished slightly higher today after what was our biggest weekly gain since August 2009. All Ords closed up 15pts to 4577. Be interesting to see if this rally can break through our resistance of around 4600. Let's see what payroll number look like tonight out of the US.

Dornbusch Partners A strong finish in the US overnight saw the DOW close up 50pts to 10320. The rally continued after retail sales improved, initial jobless claims fell and pending home sales unexpectedly increased. Payroll numbers released in the US tonight will be critical to ascertain the sustainablilty of this rally. Our futures cur...rently up 33pts and I expect there to be some profit taking occur today after a good week.

Dornbusch Partners A strong start to the week expected after good offshore leads over the weekend. End of the month upon us and institutional traders assessed on portfolio performance could possibly pump the market to window dress their portfolios.

Dornbusch Partners Good reporting and a sniff of the mining tax being scrapped helped our market stay flat today. All Ords down 1 to 4460.

Dornbusch Partners Political uncertainty will dampen markets this week with investors turning to more stable markets. Our market set to open lower this morning. Big week of reporting with Ansell and Caltex amongst the companies reporting today.
