
Dornbusch Partners Good start expected to the week after US payroll numbers exceeded expections on Friday night. SPI up 50pts. Could be an interesting week ahead with strong resistance being met in the past around 4600. Can our market break through or will it reverse again?

Dornbusch Partners Market finished slightly higher today after what was our biggest weekly gain since August 2009. All Ords closed up 15pts to 4577. Be interesting to see if this rally can break through our resistance of around 4600. Let's see what payroll number look like tonight out of the US.

Dornbusch Partners 16% increase in FB followers last week, the momentum is building!

Dornbusch Partners A strong finish in the US overnight saw the DOW close up 50pts to 10320. The rally continued after retail sales improved, initial jobless claims fell and pending home sales unexpectedly increased. Payroll numbers released in the US tonight will be critical to ascertain the sustainablilty of this rally. Our futures cur...rently up 33pts and I expect there to be some profit taking occur today after a good week.

Dornbusch Partners Aussie market is set to open at a three-week high after upbeat U.S. and Chinese manufacturing data lit a fire under equity and commodity markets overseas. The SPI closed up 74pts.

Dornbusch Partners Us markets closed up 5pts in a volatile night of trading closing up 10,014. However our futures are up 31 pts, so we can expect a reasonable start to the month. (mmmm ... great scones Suze!!)

Dornbusch Partners US markets fell overnight on the lowest volume seen so far this year. Dow closed down 140pts to 10009. Our futures are indicating a touch up here reversing yesterday's gains with the SPI down 54pts.

Dornbusch Partners A good run today with the ASX200 up 82 pts to 4452. A good run by Macquarie ($MQG) up $1.34 to $37.84.

Dornbusch Partners A strong start to the week expected after good offshore leads over the weekend. End of the month upon us and institutional traders assessed on portfolio performance could possibly pump the market to window dress their portfolios.

Dornbusch Partners Overseas markets weaker overnight with the Dow Jones closing below psychological (thank you AMW for the spelling assitance) resistance of 10,000 points at 9,986 and a weaker start expected today with the SPI closing down 36pts. Will be interesting to see if we can hold our technical floor of 4292 on the ASX200.

Dornbusch Partners Good reporting and a sniff of the mining tax being scrapped helped our market stay flat today. All Ords down 1 to 4460.

Dornbusch Partners Political uncertainty will dampen markets this week with investors turning to more stable markets. Our market set to open lower this morning. Big week of reporting with Ansell and Caltex amongst the companies reporting today.
