Problems at Newtown Park
There is off street parking and toilet facilities at the noth eastern end of Newtown Park, but these toilets get closed at 6:00pm each night and there is no signage to tell visitors to Toowoomba that there is another toilet block open 24 hours each day at the north western end of the park, wher...e there is a children's playground, barbeque facilities and toilets - but no off street parking.
As a result, yesterday people were urinating on the pavement, outside the closed toilet block, because there was no signage to advise them to go 800 metres to other facilities.
May I humbly suggest that this is not really good planning, nor is it healthy.
I hope that council take action to address there issues.
