met this little guy while on the "Tour of Smiles". He and his sister,
Emma, made cool little "CanJoe*John" posters for me and Emma received
her own canjoe instrument made from a can of Cherry Coke that she
actually drank. Watch this video...it shows how he struggles d...aily but
with magnanimous, grand dignity, faith in the power of a living God and... See More
with strength of a superhuman as he perseveres. He is only but one of
many like him that I encounter while on the "Tour of Smiles" but as
each I meet are, he's also very special. Please take the time to view

family and for all those like him as we fight to find a cure.

Tour of Smiles TOSA Treasurer's report update: The total income for TOSA for the entire year of 2009 = $309. The final accounting for all expenses has not been finalized but the expenses to operate far outweighed the income. Regardless, the tour most go on. The members of the board of directors thanks all who contributed.
Tour of Smiles Another scheduled event of visiting patients in their rooms, performing music for them and giving canjoe instruments to the chronic care patients to keep and use as music therapy.

Tour of Smiles This is a regularly scheduled event starting out with CanJoe*John seeing patients in the St Jude's affiliated clinic, playing music for them as they receive their treatments and giving canjoe instruments to them to keep for use as music therapy. Then CanJoe*John will make rounds from room to room in the hospital seein...g and entertaining the inpatientsl and where some will also be receiving canjoe iinstruments as well.
