
Tour of Smiles TOSA Treasurer's report update: The total income for TOSA for the entire year of 2009 = $309. The final accounting for all expenses has not been finalized but the expenses to operate far outweighed the income. Regardless, the tour most go on. The members of the board of directors thanks all who contributed.

Tour of Smiles The Tour of Smiles Affiliation, Inc (TOSA) is a charitable nonprofit corporation controlled by a board of directors following rules set forth by the registered bylaws of the corporation. CanJoe*John does not receive a penny of compensation for any volunteer time he spends at children's hospitals or events. The CanJoe C...ompany also donates all canjoe instruments free of charge and none are paid for from any TOSA funds.

Tour of Smiles CanJoe*John will be joining a group of students in Johnson City, TN of the Washington County Elementary School in a special event where the students involved will be bringing, collecting, or making gifts to give to needy and sick children for Christmas. He will be performing special Christmas music for their entertainm...ent and will be helping their cause with motivational story telling as part of their event.

Tour of Smiles CanJoe*John met this adorable little 4 year old fella' today while on his "Tour of Smiles". Little "JR" is an inpatient in a children's hospital and he requested that CanJoe*John sit with him and teach him to play on a canjoe. The photo is a little fuzzy but look close, you'll "get the picture".

Tour of Smiles Here's a photo of a group of kids attending a special week long camp. They all have cancer and/or Sickle Cell disease and they are all receiving canjoe instruments to keep and to use for their own music therapy. CanJoe*John is also providing them some canjoe music entertainment as part of the "Tour of Smiles"...
