Train with Cat did you know that dieters cutting back on cheese, eggs, almonds, milk or yogurt are likely to bring on PREMATURE WRINKLES!! Yup. That's right. I just learnt that.

Snowboarding burns approximately 600 calories per hour (based on a 180 pound person). If you're a beginner, pushing yourself up off the snow every time you fall, you'll burn even more.

Amen! All I need for a reality check is to look back 5 years ago...or 10.....when I loaded up my Blazer with everything I owned and drove from northern Idaho to the pacific coast of Mexico by myself! and then sent for my son.......now....joy..he is 19, university bound next fall and until then, here with me....and life rocks!

Train with Cat On Monday I suggested getting back on track after Thanksgiving weekend by giving up 250-400 calories each day, and walking 20 minutes more. Did anyone give that a go? Has it been a good week?

Certainly did, because of the lovely sunshine and lack of snow I walked to work all week :-)

And I thought that the 3500 + calories I burned running the Victoria Marathon was enough to induldge in Thanksgiving feasts n' wine. LOL! In all seriouness, I LOVE RUNNING in the snow, and you burn more calories per km, just like runningin sand. Just one thing, we NEED MORE SNOW!
