We hosted a Trees for Troops event at our 3 stores in Illinois and Indiana. The BEST part of the event is trying to have a presence of volunteers in Uniform. The ROTC from one of our Universities volunteered to be at one of our stores on Sunday. Customers went crazy....snapping pictures....giving them praise....purchasing trees...

When we saw ... See Morethe news articles on TV....we liked how those who received trees commented on "where the trees came from". Next time, we would ask our tree donors to say where they are from on the tag. (city/state).

Thanks for organizing this great event!

Those sent to Hood were for families who were in serious dire need of things like food and clothing too, just so ppl know that they went to homes who really would have had no other way to have a Christmas decoration without them.

We loved Fort Knox, too. It was such a sleepy little place and we didn't realize how good we had it until we moved to Ft. Campbell from there.
