Trouble the Water President Barack Obama: ‘We will build it stronger than before’

Source: www.troublethewaterfilm.com

I'm not holding my breath...this was his first visit since he took office and he didn't even take the time to tour Mississippi. We had entire cities wiped away but nobody knows about it because we don't get the same press coverage as NOLA. Please see my story at http://katrinasos.wordpress.com/.

BTW, I loved the movie hope that hope that Kimberly is blessed with a very lucrative music career.

Trouble the Water Make Gulf Coast Recovery a Right and a Reality - Adopt the UN Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement http://www.katrinaaction.org/

Devon Dvorzsak
Devon Dvorzsak
Adopting the UN guiding principles on internal displacement would usurp states rights to deploy as they see fit their resources, and places what should be local responsibility on the federal government. What Katrina victims need is responsible/caring local leadership.

So should N.O. wait for local leadership? The local leadership saw it fit to put their resources into things other than taking care of people before they were displaced victims. States rights to let people perish are not rights to be granted!

Talk about being in the wrong place at the right time: Kimberly Rivers Roberts, an aspiring rapper and self-described "street hustler" living in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans, had just recently purchased a Sony camcorder in August 2005 when Hurricane Katrina slammed into her city.
