Urban Tulsa Weekly
Urban Brew Rendezvous is a charity event for Tulsa Advocates for Protection of Children benifitting kids in DHS foster care. Over 1700 Children in Tulsa are in group homes and foster homes. These children depend on charitable contributions for holiday celebrations, birthdays and everyday necessities. All profits rai...sed during Urban Brew will go directly to the kids.
The focus of the event is beer, wine and spirits tasting.
It's just $25 per person to sample about 100 brews, wines and spirits. Cherokee Casino is donating the space needed for the event as well as the catering of heavy appetizers for the guests.
There will also be a chance for guests to receive a door prize from one of our sponsors. And if you feel like a little gambling after the event (or during), there are plenty of slots and table games for you to enjoy downstairs.

Creators Tom Green and Angie DeVore-Green started the music festival Diversafest in 2002. The event, which had about 150 people and 12 booked bands in its first year, has now grown to expect about 60,000 fans and 75 bands this year. There will be 11 different stages within walking distance of one another in the Blue ...Dome District.
Some of the headliner bands include All-American Rejects, Paramore, Ravi, Ty England, and Paper Route. Emerging artists you can expect to hear are Beau Jennings, Congress of a Crow, Kendal Dean, Colourmusic, and My Solstice.
