Company Overview:	Tune in HPV is a web television channel designed to raise awareness around the human papilloma virus through education and entertainment. Tune in HPV encourages users to contribute their stories and experiences. We publish your stories on our site and make some of these stories into videos. These videos are short, off beat, humorous at times, and always informational. The information shared in these pieces ranges from encouraging women to get pap smears, to raising awareness around contraction for queer men and women, to thinking critically and carefully about vaccines like Gardasil. Our information is supported by the Washington D.C. Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control. Tune in HPV is built through the School of Communication at American University by a Communication and Social Change course. Tune in HPV encourages everyone to tune in to your inner self and listen to the knowledge and wisdom that is already within you. Tune in HPV does not offer medical advice, nor is it about answering questions that swirl around this complicated and confusing virus. Hi--
YouTube has an HPV Test channel with patient stories: http://www.youtube.com/user/DigeneHPVtest

The pap is not foolproof-- it can miss up to half the time. But when combined with the pap the HPV test is virtually 100% accurate in identifying women at risk for cervical cancer so they can be monitored and treated before cancer has a chance to develop.

the donut cervix is so so disturbing....that should be shown in pro-abstinence classes...i see a whole new market for this piece...

The class is going into the city for the second time to hand out condoms and start some conversations about HPV! Look for us at: U Street station, Union Station, Van Ness UDC and Foggy Bottom April 22nd from around 4-6pm.
