American Family Association According to the Christian Post, Dina el-Gohary, the 15-year-old daughter of Egyptian Maher el-Gohary, has written a letter appealing to Pres. Obama to help her father who is in danger of being murdered or imprisoned for converting from Islam to Christianity. Please pray for them. Also, please consider sending an email to Pres. Obama asking him to intervene on their behalf.
American Family Association Yesterday, Pres. Obama said too much government debt (the national debt is $12 trillion and rising) could cause loss of confidence and result in a double-dip recession. Yet, Congress continues wild spending sprees. In fact, this year’s deficit is $1.42 trillion – TRIPLE the previous record! Unless we put a leash on spending, I say our children and grandchildren will inherit a bankrupt country. What do you say?

Bart Stupak, D-MI, says he will prevent the House bill from moving forward if, as the White House has indicated, a ban on taxpayer funding is stripped from the bill. Do you think Pres. Obama will risk passage of a health care bill to fulfill his pledge to the abortion industry? I don’t.

American Family Association An athiest group has filed suit challenging the constitutionality of our National Motto, “In God We Trust,” engraved at the entrance to the Capitol Visitor Center in Washington. Forty-four (44) U.S. legislators have come to the defense of the Motto, arguing that the lawsuit seeks to erase America’s religious heritage.
