Belize Mission and Retreat Today we made it to the base. It was a long drive w/some roads paved the rest were dirt road with potholes. We stopped in Gales Point picked up people that work at the base, & arrived at the base. Had lunch & orientation & free time until dinner. We walked a little in the Caribbean & the rest of the time we played sp...oons. We ate dinner, prepared for tomorrow. We're now playing games. Awesome just like last time.

Belize Mission and Retreat These are pics of the Christmas Eve program for the kids in the village and Christmas day at the mission base. The treat bags for the children in the village were provided by Living Streams church in Phoenix, AZ and the Belize Mission & Retreat

Belize Mission and Retreat This is a Cultural competition for Belize, not many competed. But Gales Point out did them all! Our Jr. girls got 2nd place, the Sr's. got a mentionable honor for the most audience participation. They both should have had 1st place!

Belize Mission and Retreat Grandview has arrived safely. We had dinner at Friendships and then they went back to the hotel to relax, we'll be leaving tomorrow for the base. Stay connected for updates daily!

Belize Mission and Retreat Grandview Baptist is coming from Davenport, Iowa. This team is made up of older teens/college and more experienced team members. They will be learning more of the culture of Gales Point, by learning to cook Belizean style, sharing Christ thru youth bible study, women's bible study/crafts, Youth New Year's Eve party, P...ediatric nurse sharing info on infant care and development and teaching teenage girls about their sexuality and how to protect it and why! The men in the group will be working with Basil projects. This is the 5th trip for Grandview Baptist church. Be on the watch daily for pictures and updates.

Belize Mission and Retreat The children in the village got Christmas treats, from Living Streams church and the Belize Mission & Retreat. Filled colorful sacks with an apple, candy canes, pencils, and a small toy for a boy or girl. For some it may be all they get. Except a tour organization called Back a Bush brought in gifts for the children ea...rlier this week. Merry Christmas to each of you, my we all rejoice in the Lord's birthday today!

Belize Mission and Retreat John and Mel Bjorgen the family that will be joining us are trying to raise their final costs for their move, and would like prayer that God provides them with a Christmas miracle. They still need $15,000 to be able to leave the states and make their final move to Belize.
