It’s been a long time coming. Mandy de Waal’s article on TwitterSA finally made it on to ITWeb, and as expected, there was a subsequent surge of traffic. What I was not expecting, to be perfectly honest, was Gnip suddenly deciding to shut itself down. So...
TwitterSA if your avatar mysteriously stops showing on TwitterSA, chances are it's because you changed it after registering. Registering again will refresh your profile on TwitterSA, and fix your avatar problems :)
TwitterSA TwitterSA's import script has been updated, to compensate for Gnip's changes. Everything should be working again, but please email us at support@twittersa.com if you spot any problems.

You can now have TwitterSA highlight replies (or any tweets that contain your username) by doing the following:
1. Go here: http://twittersa.co.za/preferences
2. Set your username and Update Preferences
3. If you don't see your name after saving, try refreshing the page.
4. Return to the Live stream (http://twittersa.co.za...) and tweets containing your username are highlighted.
You can use this to track other keywords too. It will be expanded later to allow for multiple keywords/colors, but for now, being able to find replies at a glance is nice :)Read More
