Txt4Peace Text messages have been pouring in as we near the close of this great campaign.
So far there have been more than 136,000 SMS messages from Kenya alone!
Some other counts: more than 7000 SMS messages from Liberia, more than 4500 from Cote d'Ivoire, more than 2000 from Korea
From the website we have received messages from about 132 countries.
I'll post more updates as they become available.

:) I was showing my floor, the global Learning Community, a bit around the UN today. It was so cool to sit in the visitor's lobby and check out the cool Txt4Peace board that was up and say, hey, what the UN is doing is relevant to young people!

Way to go!

Heyy! we in Costa Rica did a HUGE celebration so that people knew that today is peace day!!! we had a lot of fun working together for such a goal!
