I love "I Will Follow", "The Unforgettable Fire", New Year's Day", "Your Blue Room", Mysterious Ways", 'Discotheque", "Walk On", "Get On Your Boots", "Vertigo"...........They are U2 Songs. Same writers, no matter who produces it, or what kind of mood they want the album ... See Moreto induce. They are brilliant songwriters in both music and lyrics. People that complain about different periods in their career, or that they aren't as good as they used to be are just not opening themselves up to change enough. Unlike groups like Chicago, that were once real rock bands, and now have become something completely unrecognizable from their early seventies output, or the Rolling Stones, who have become parodies of themselves. U2 is still U2. Bono's voice is as strong as it has ever been. They continue to put on concerts filled with passion. Larry, Adam, and The Edge are as good today as they have ever been. So to answer the question in far too many words....I want them to record whatever keeps them wanting to be U2
