UGA Noteworthy
It's that time of year again for our big fall Woodstockappella show, hosted by the lovely UGA Noteworthy ladies! Also joining us will be the wonderfully, talented UGA Accidentals, UGA's With Somebody Else's Money, and Georgia Tech's Sympvibes. This is one show you do not want to miss! So, come out and enjoy yourselv...es as we take a trip back to the past through music!!! If only we could turn back time!
There are going to be two shows, 6pm and 8pm, and each of them are going to be loads of fun! So come to one, or both if you like!
Ticket prices:
$6 students/children
$8 adults
Tickets can be purchased upfront or at the door, but it is recommended that you preorder tickets since they tend to go fast. You can pre-order tickets by calling the ticket office at 706-542-8579 to have them set aside at will call. If you have any further questions, you can contact us by emailing uganoteworthy@gmail.com.

Hello Music Fans!
It is that time again! We are looking for talented new singers to join UGA's Premier All-Female A Cappella Ensemble: Noteworthy!!! Don't be shy, and be sure to come out and show us what you've got!
***The important stuff:***
Q: When are the auditions?
A: Thursday, August 27, 2009
Q: What time are the audi...tions?
A: Come any time between 5:00pm-8:00pm
Q: Where should I go for the auditions?
A: We will be in the school of music, on the 3rd floor, in either room 304 or 308. Just look for the music stand outside the door with applications on it.
Q: What will the audition be like?
A: Don't be nervous! There are four parts that we ask of everyone auditioning.
1. We will warm you up by doing vocal exercises up and down the piano! This will let us get an idea of your range!
2. We will ask you to perform some tonal memory which is where we will play 3 notes, then 4 notes, then 5, and you will sing them back to us on whatever syllable you like!
3. There will be a short sight-reading passage that you will have 1 minute to practice and then sing back to us!
4. We ask that you prepare a short solo (verse and a chorus) of any song of your choice (we like everything from Disney to Broadway to Pop to Oldies to Jazz) and sing it to us a cappella. Easy enough right?
