Living with Place Properties, and being part of a Smart Living Community, gives you the opportunity to empower yourself through a program called Generation Impact. This is a way for you to benefit your local community and join forces with the entire Place Properties family to make an impact nationally. As a part of Ge...neration Impact, YOU are invited to participate in Place Properties Annual Volunteer Day. On November 12th, 2009 each property will be donating their time to make a difference in their local community. Staff, residents, parents, and friends are all welcome to contribute. Any amount of time, no matter how much or how little, is greatly appreciated.
Oak Place is proud to able to join the City Union Mission and the Missouri Adopt a Highway Program on Thursday November 12, 2009
City Union Mission Thrift Store located at 1229 E. 63rd St., Kansas City, MO will be taking volunteers to help organize their donations on the 12th, if you have a couple hours that day please sign up for a shift!
The Missouri Adopt a Highway program will be an ongoing effort to keep Kansas City, MO more beautiful. Every 90 days start November 12, 2009 we will beatify our own ½ mile of Kansas City, MO, from 51st and Main to 59th and Main ST. If you would like to participate in this even if for just 30 minutes please come and sign up at the Oak Place office.
