On stage an überhybrid mash-feist of mad professorizing, cloned musicians, steampunk instruments and multiple synchronized video projections keep your eyes, ears and consciousness glued to an escapist reality of multiple dimensions.

Hans Igor The buzz started with live jobs at the beginning of the new millennia and in 2001 the first self financed 12", E-pipe, was released as a limited edition.

In 2002 the single "Loungemeister" was a huge radio hit, helped by a legendary animated music video. The debut album, "Resound", was released in autumn the same year, quickly reaching gold status in Norway.

Since then Ugress has been a fave for TV and film producers, and composed score for the world famous extreme sport series Perfect Moment - Nuit De La Glisse.

Resound was followed by "Cinematronics" in 2004, including underground hits like Manhattan Sapphire and Makina Fifth, and again very popular music videos.

Ugress Live In 2006 Gisle Martens Meyer created his own label Uncanny Planet, and bought back all rights to the music. 2006 also saw the release of "Film Music - Selected Cues", a compilation of Ugress film scores from the past years.

Currently Ugress is recording for the new epic album "Unicorn" which will be released January 28th, 2008. The first video single, Kosmonaut, is available for download. Remixes for the soundtrack to Norwegian box office hit and cult movie, Release Jimmy, are also in progress. (read less)
