Unbridled Fury 0.9.0 is due out in the next couple of weeks. Please keep checking UF.net for details, though I will probably announce it here as well...

Unbridled Fury Well, we were at Emperor's Legion today, but the record high temperatures were too much for us so we moved to the local games store. At least 43 degrees outside, and the hall was not air conditioned nor cool...

Unbridled Fury Unbridled Fury 0.8.0 is available for download from the website. It is a bigger book than before, but it is, at least in my opinion, a better organised tome than previously. Inside are new rules and a whole swag bag of clarifications and rules improvements. Check it out!

Unbridled Fury A little casual game with some new players. Damo discovered that the swarm rules needed a great deal of adjustment... Geoff got new dice (which didn't save his boys) and Nigel worked at building his awesome new knights...

Unbridled Fury
Rules are moving ahead: they are being completely rewritten to remove all the dross that has crept in there over the last six or so revisions... If there is a delay or quiet period it is due to our efforts in redoing the book... Will be much improved - thanks to all the Furidians who have contributed to amendments by p...ointing out all the sucky problems they have encountered. Hopefully we can iron out any remaining issues before this new book is released. We are finally entering Public Beta, so we are getting closer to a proper product! Whoa!Read More

Unbridled Fury Christmas party was good. Thankyou to the folks who attended, a good time was had by all. Merry Christmas and a safe holiday and happy New Year to everyone. See you all in 2009!

Unbridled Fury A few galleries have been posted of all of the older photos that I could find already grouped in categories. I'll post more when and if I find any that are coherent enough to make galleries for, otherwise I'll clump them together.

Unbridled Fury
The photos in this gallery are from the first photo shoots done for the game. The available figure collections weren't yet completely set up for Unbridled Fury...
All of these photos would have been taken during the 0.1.x series of UF, way, way back in the depths of time (well 2005 to very early 2006 to be precise. ;)

Unbridled Fury
Four months into the human invasion of the dwarfen domains, the occupied town of Kratsenblaus was cut off in the dark of night, isolating the human reserve inside the bend of a major river. Unfortunately for the dwarfs, the human cavalry charged straight through them across the bridge...

These are images of the author's company of Dwarfen Fyrd. These were painted by moody, and are rather nice (cheers mate!). Figures are mostly by Ral Partha, Alternative Armies, Grenadier and Ghost (and possibly some others). This company is a shade over 3000 points in size, at least according to UF v0.2.2.

Unbridled Fury
This was a back to back pair of 500(ish) point playtest games played out on the 17th of March, 2006. Both were over very quickly and illustrated graphically some of the rules' shortcomings (these have thankfully now been fixed). Just like in the "Darame's Adventure in the Dark" battle report, the rules used were a much... earlier version of UF (v0.2.1-4) and some parts of it played quite differently to today. But let's not let that get in the way of a good story.
The first game involved taking out the dogmen's leader, a well decomposed necromancer. He was suffering with a hangover that was negating his powers. (Though how this undead creature could be in such a state is anybody's guess.) The second was a dwarfen assault upon a hill held by the dogmen which ended in some serious carnage.Read More

Another oldie, this one is possibly late 2006 or early 2007. Can't place it, not even the datestamps are helping... ;)
In the dark years following the departure of the Luxeros, the dwarfs of Luxorean fought a long and bloody war. The daemonic forces that shattered the Luxeros' hold on this world turned their attention t...o the native dwarfs, whose souls were ripe for the harvest. The dwarfs, strangely enough, didn't see things the same way...
Here is a selection of photos from the game as we played it. The battle was fought in the Tin Soldier Penrith games room and was one of our playtest sessions. Much was gained in playtesting terms from the action, even though the game was only one turn in length (as we ran out of time before we could really get it going - that's why we don't have a decent battle report). The terrain is by Bails and the figures are by various manufacturers (and painted by Gaterohnn and moody) - dwarfs are by Ghost, Ral Partha and Grenadier, whilst the daemons are variously by RAFM, Ral Partha, Reaper, and some that I cannot place no matter how hard I try.Read More

Unbridled Fury There is a new battle report on the website from the 27th of November. We will try to do some more to hopefully put online next week, focussing this time on an SF setting. Guns, guns, guns...

Unbridled Fury
An oldie, but a UF classic:
In the spring of the year 453, the Draseen Baron Seran Alpeethe led his forces into the disputed territory of Kragen. His goals were to rescue the human clerics that were being persecuted by the Dwarfs of the region. As far as he was concerned, the Dwarfs were nothing more than uneducated bar...barians that needed to be kept in line. The proud and ancient Dwarfs had other ideas.
This battle concerned the half brother of Alpeethe, Ber Darame, who led his men to the edge of the Cendar Wood, where a small colony of Monks of the Order of the Bringer of Light were based. The colony had been overrun and burned to the ground. A few of the monks had escaped, but a couple still lingered, and Darame swore to get them home. Leading an elite group of his knights (and a not so elite group of peasants) he attempted to get the last of the monks out alive in the dead of night.
The game was played by Gaterohnn (Draseen) and moody (Dwarfs). The scenario was a standard Generated Scenario rolled up using Unbridled Fury 0.2.1.
