Although the theme of this month's show is "The Briny Deep," I am offering you my solemn guarantee that this message will contain no pirate-speak, reference to pirates, or even acknowledgment that they exist. Furthermore, if any act at our show so much as uses the letter "r" in a sentence, I will get stone cold brutal....
That is not a threat.
I will probably just avoid eye contact, and not even give my customary (and entirely unheartfelt) "Hey, that was great, man. Really funny."
Anyway. We have the usuals this month.
We have Mark Robinson's (Teenbeat Records, Flin Flon, Unrest) new band Cotton Candy.
We also have local famous author Erik P. Kraft, who I believe is now a full time member of the Round Table, but he hasn't been hazed yet and I'm not the damn Secretary of Membership so I may be wrong.
Michael Brodeur will be there to do something semi-serious, which is something we're trying to get back to.
Anyway, Friday.
