United Way of Inner Wisconsin You’re invited! United Way of Inner Wisconsin’s Thank You and Recognition Celebration will be on December 16, 2009 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Hotel Mead and Conference Center. There will be a cash bar from 5:00pm to 7:00pm; and an awards presentation at 6:00pm. This event is for anyone who volunteered and/or made ...a gift to United Way of Inner Wisconsin. We are now presenting the Leadership Giver Awards during this event. If you are a 2009 Leadership Giver, please attend the Thank You and Recognition Celebration to receive your award and be recognized! Thanks to our sponsors, admission is free and event is at no cost toUnited Way of Inner Wisconsin! Sponsors include: Brenda Huber, Mid-State Technical College and Riverview Hospital Association. Do you want to make a difference in your community? Do you have a desire to better another individual’s life? Do you have an extra hour a week, a month? Have you always wanted to volunteer but didn’t know how to get started? Then come and check out the Volunteer Fair on November 14th!
A Volunteer Fair, sponsored by ...the Volunteer Center of United Way of Inner Wisconsin, is scheduled for November 14th at the Rapids Mall right outside of Younkers. The Volunteer Fair is scheduled from 8:00 am to 11:00 am that day. Many area non-profit organizations will be there to share with you volunteer opportunities and ways to get involved in the community. If you have always had a passion for volunteering or if this is your first time being interested there is an opportunity or agency that is a match for you. Can’t wait to see you there!
