United Way of San Luis Obispo County On Saturday, October 24th, over 450 volunteers joined us for Make A Difference Day 2009! Thank you to everyone who participated, performing an estimated $41,000 worth of service for local nonprofit agencies!
United Way of San Luis Obispo County Karen Baker, the first-in-the-nation state cabinet Secretary of Service and Volunteering, made her first visit to SLO County to speak to nonprofit staff, volunteers and community members at the 2009 Collaboration Forum.
