United Way of Western Connecticut

United Way of Western Connecticut CHECK IT OUT! United Way of Western Connecticut was profiled in a case study examining organizations that were successful in first-time attempts at email fundraising. The article highlights our "Take Five to Give 5" basic needs fundraising campaign which ran May thru July of last year (we appear on the second page of t...he study). This is very cool!

Thank you to the EDGE committee and the other volunteers that joined in the painting project at the Interlude Intensive Recovery house this past Sunday. Such an incredible impact was made in this home by brightening the bedrooms and living space with fresh paint that it will continue to positively effect the lives of ...the individuals that reside there on a daily basis. Great job! We look forward to future community improvement projects.

United Way of Western Connecticut On this very special day, United Way of Western Connecticut urges everyone to reflect on the great works of Martin Luther King. On August 28, 1963 he led more than 250,000 people to Washington where he gave one of the most historic speeches of our time. We invite you to view this speech and think about the magnitude of... Dr. King's words and the bravery & passion of those who followed him there. We thank Dr. King, and everyone who contributed to the civil rights movement. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEMXaTktUfA
