The University of Ballarat proudly presents the first annual University of Ballarat Virtual Open Day. This is the first of its kind in Australia.
As part of this Open Day you will have the opportunity to visit the University of Ballarat's Virtual campus and take a tour of our newly created virtual facilities. You will have the chance to look at what the University of Ballarat Virtual Campus has to offer, which includes a virtual learning clinic that is to be used by for healthcare education, an exhibition of digital art by one of the University's GSITMS academic staff members, and the Virtual Stuttering Support Center designed to help support people who have difficulty with stuttering. In addition, you can explore what the First Life University of Ballarat has to offer through web links, brochures and video presentations.
Representatives of the University of Ballarat will be on hand in the Graduate School of ITMS on the day to guide you through the Virtual University and answer any questions you may have.
We look forward to seeing you there on 30th August 2009, 10am - 3pm, Australian EST.

Formal qualifications can be gained from an equally wide variety of programs.
You can graduate with a Bachelor of Psychological Science, or a Bachelor of Arts (Rural Social Welfare), a B.A. in the Humanities and Social Sciences, or a B.A. (International Studies). And you can ‘mix and match’ courses within these programs. A double award program is also offered: graduate with a Bachelor of Arts AND a Diploma in Writing and Editing!
Studies at Honours level are offered in the Humanities and Social Science programs and in Psychology. Postgraduate coursework programs include the Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology and, at Masters level, the Master of Psychology by coursework and a minor thesis. The School also supports a number of research-based Masters and PhD projects in Psychology, Humanities and Social Sciences.
To enable you to upgrade your qualifications and to target more specific areas of study - all without having to complete another degree – there are two (fee-paying) programs to choose from:

- Psychology
