The University of Louisville Alumni Association invites you to the Kentucky Oaks and the Kentucky Derby!
The Alumni Association, in conjunction with Churchill Downs, would like to offer you the newest "in-thing" to do in the Infield at Oaks and Derby -- the Infield Club. If you have graduated from the chaos of the regul...ar infield but are not quite ready for Millionaire's Row, join UofL Young Alumni in the Infield Club. Wear your favorite UofL hat or shirt and be eligible for gifts and prizes.
This new area will be a secured section in the center of the Infield, with a relaxed, sports bar-like vibe. It will feature JumboTron televisions, a giant 430 ft. long bar, DJs, upgraded restrooms, dedicated betting windows, shaded seating areas and a special presence from Bravo TV's Top Chef. We will have a UofL Alumni Association dedicated area within the Club -- look for the Red and Black!
Don't like the crowds on Oaks and Derby? Then join us on Thursday for the Music Festival in the Infield Club. Tickets are $15 and include track admission.

Join the University of Louisville Alumni Association for the annual "Run for the L of It" 5K run/walk. This year’s race benefits the Derby City Athletic Club Youth Athletics Program. The course will begin and end at Fourth Street Live.
Early registration is available here or by calling the Alumni Association (502-852-61...86, 800-813-8635) until noon May 22, 2009. Late registration will begin at 6:45 a.m. the day of the event, May 23.
Number pick-up is from 6:45 - 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, May 23.
The race will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m.

Awards will be announced at approximately 9:00 a.m. All award recipients will receive an Award Certificate
Runners’ services and premiums:

● Mile markers positioned at every mile

Join the UofL Alumni Association for a tailgate party prior to the football scrimmage at Jim Patterson Baseball Stadium, with $1 drinks and... hot dogs, raffles and games. Free admission.
The tailgate and spring football scrimmage, which kicks off the 2009 football season for the Cardinals, are both free events!
