Generally you will need good high-school grades, and an English language of IELTs 3.0 or higher. We usually give places to 'overseas' students, but we do also have limited places for EU/EEA students. Students are usually 17 years-old when they start on the Undergraduate Certificate...

A rough comparison can be made as follows:
First class degree (1st) = GPA 4.0
Upper Second Class (2.1) = GPA 3.0
Lower Second Class (2.2) = GBP 2.0
Third Class and Ordinary Degree = GPA 1.0
Fail = GPA 0.0
This is just a rough comparison but should give you a good idea of the rough equivalence between grades.
